It is however, transparent.
We’ve had a few things at the warehouse that present an unusual problem. The problem of being worth a great deal more than our usual stock. Welcome to the first in an occasional series: “From the Pile of Denial” things that I’ve purposely ignored or have been undecided about. Some I’ve have secreted in my office, some I’ve pawned off on others…frankly I’m more than tired of thinking about them and wondering what to do with them so…..
First up is a 1980′s vintage art glass piece by the great Guyol. Entitled “Serenity” it is in immaculate condition and is signed and numbered. All the parts are there and it has a jewelers tag from the original purchase still affixed to the base.
This was associated with several other “Quality” pieces (coming attractions!) and at first I couldn’t figure out who the artist was… (note to budding artists: signature legibility is a boon for those of us in the recycling trade, thanks). Six or eight tries and one or two psychotic breaks later….it’s now available for you.
I know where you can pick up another one for $1495…we’re asking $1249 (offers considered), free domestic shipping (insured of course). International shipping will vary by location but will be very reasonable.
