Very large two-piece china hutch with built-in desk section. We’ve heard these referred to as “butler’s pantries.” Ours has a couple of minor flaws, a notable one being that the pulls on the fold-down writing surface/door/drawer front are partially missing. The pseudo-mullions on the windows also have some missing pieces. But in general it’s a very nice piece in quite good condition.
The mahogany looks great and nearly glows in the light. All the windows in the upper portion have curved, bubble-like surfaces (rather than flat glass).
We also have the key for the locks so you can keep the silver (or whatnot) safe from the servants.
72 1/2 inches wide, 79 tall and 17 deep.
