Vintage German Opera Glasses

12 6 011

These opera glasses are perfect for viewing either the end of the world coming or a Wagner revival from the cheap seats, especially if you’re a rabbit*. They are marked B&N Jena which shows they were were made in Jena, Germany. There is a small chip on one of the eye pieces but they work well and are probably 2 or 3 times magnification.

*Or perhaps off in a balcony filming the revival? Regardless of the camera angles in the revival,  What’s Opera Doc is one of the classics of Bugs Bunny cartoons, on par with the Rabbit of Seville.
