Jeptha & The New People

1 10 011

Jeptha doesn’t like new people. Jeptha doesn’t like readin’, ‘riting or ‘rithmetic either and thankfully for him there’s no constitutional requirement* that he have anything to do with any of ‘em.

The jug is 9 1/2 inches tall without cork and currently empty (‘hic, sorry, ‘hic).

The book is a vintage copy of Jeptha & the New People by Marguerite Vance. It is in good condition but lacks the dust jacket.

*As one of my old anthropology professors liked to remind us “concomitant with rights are duties and obligations.”  This is perhaps one of the great oversights of the framers of the constitution: they wrote a bill of rights, but they didn’t specify a bill of obligations.
