Round with a slightly squared plan view. This is a piece from the famed Drexel Declaration line, designed by Kipp Stewart and Stewart MacDougall in the 1950’s.
It is 49 1/2 inches in maximum diameter and 26 inches tall with walnut veneer and rosewood inlay decoration at the center. I’m not sure what this was called in the original catalog (probably something poetic like ’round dinette table’).
It is in very good condition.
Underneath it is marked with the Drexel part number and dated December 1961.
