Well . . .
One has to begin somewhere doesn’t one? I’m not really sure where but grounding things in the physical, in description and going from there seems like a decent course.
This is a piece by Michael Garman, part of his Magic Town series. Magic Town is a 1/6th scale city, spanning 2000 square feet designed to evoke “life in everyday neighborhoods and city scenes of yesteryear.” It is 29 inches tall, 19 1/2 inches wide, 6 inches deep and lit from above. It is in great shape and depicts Leroy and Bertha’s Bar and Grill.
This one is a little unusual as there is a person outside the bar. Most of these that we’ve found just have Leroy looking out the window in somewhat creepy fashion, like he’s waiting for the protection money shakedown guys to come.
