You guys are rad, and my studio would not be as fabulous without my chandeliers from CW! If you need any photos for the post just let me know and I can e-mail them to you.

I see asking prices as a starting point for negotiation. So, I'm always willing to consider offers but some are considered longer than others. Feel free to give me a call or send an email and we can go from there.
Thanks!

I have a question. What will happen to this set if nobody buys it for $150? Will the price go down? Do you accept lower offers?

Thanks! I'm lucky to sometimes escape the rigor and boredom of mere metric description and fortunate to have folks who don't hold less than rational thought processes against me.
Besides, what the heck else am I supposed to do with a headless scotch decanter?
Cheers!

Thanks Arlene,

The fire makes sense for explaining the spottiness of the records. The 66's are great machines, but I couldn't imagine doing the sewing for a growing family by hand cranking one of them. I'd imagine one ends up with one severely overdeveloped arm!

Ed: The Singer Co had a fire, so it depends on if the file cards were in the fire or not. I have a hand-crank Model 66, (Singer nicknamed it "Red Head" due to the red decals on it) made February 20, 1917 in Elizabeth NJ. (#G5240342) Funny thing is that my dad always said that he should have married a red head. Mom bought this machine at a quilt festival and you should have seen my dad's face when she came in the back door of the house anouncing that she had brought him home his "Red Head"... It still sews like a dream, but your arm gets tired turning the crank.
